HYGIENE KITS FOR HAITI

The Outreach team at the Townsend Congregational Church is assembling hygiene kits to send to Haiti in conjunction with Church World Service and their Gifts of the Heart Program. There is an urgent need for hygiene kits. We are inviting the community to join us in this project.
A complete kit consists of:
1 handtowel (approx. 16"x28")
1 washcloth
nail clipper-no emery boards or metal files
a wide-tooth comb
a bath size bar of soap in packaging
1 toothbrush in original package-adult or child size
Place all items in a zipper lock gallon size plastic bag

The approximate cost of this kit is $10. The church will pay the cost of shipping all the assembled kits.

You may also purchase these items separately. We do not need washcloths at this time unless you are assembling a complete kit.

Monetary donations may also be made to purchase items for the kits or to help defray the cost of shipping. Make checks payable to the Townsend Congregational Church, P.O. Box 487, Townsend, MA 01469 and write "Outreach/Hygiene kits" on the memo line.

Collected items may be dropped off at: McNabb's Pharmacy, Evans on the Common, the Townsend Library, Stop 'n' Style hair salon in West Townsend and at the church. Deadline is February 14.
