GreenCare for Troops is an organization that connects landscape maintenance professionals and citizen volunteers with families of men and women away from home serving in the armed forces.

GreenCare for Troops provides lawn care and property maintenance assistance to these families.

GreenCare for Troops is organizing to help a Townsend resident who has been on active duty since around the time of the December 2008 ice storm. His property suffered extensive damage from the storm and has not been cleaned up. Additional property maintenance has also been deferred and needs to be addressed.
