Wetlands are natural systems that provide vital functions to both people and wildlife. Legislation has been passed to preserve the benefits that wetlands provide. My background provides me with a unique understanding of wetland science and the regulatory processes that projects located in or near wetlands must comply with. I help clients to ensure that sites are developed in a manner that protects the functions and values provided by these natural resources. My experience in working cooperatively with developers, regulators and contractors enables me to deliver practical, constructable solutions to concerns for regulated activities.

My name is Michael Turgeon, I have worked as a Wetland Scientist for MassDEP and a number of consulting firms for over twenty years. I began working independently as a part time Wetland Consultant in 1998. In 2003, I ventured out on a full time basis and business has been growing steadily ever since.
