The American Flag Committee promotes the purchase and display of American Flags along the main streets of the town during appropriate holidays.

Additional Information

Need a unique gift for the holidays?  How about purchasing an American Flag to be flown along Townsend's Main Street?

An American Flag, pole, whip and replacement flag can be purchased in memory of, recognition of, or a donation, given in the name of a friend or loved one.

Flags will be mounted on electric light poles along Main Street from Sterilite to Eastman Street. Flags will be flown on certain holidays or special occasions, i.e.: Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Veteran's Day. A permanent record of your gift / donation will be placed on a plaque to be displayed in Memorial Hall.

What a great way to be remembered by future generations!

The package may be purchased for $50.
