The Sealer Of Weights and Measures' is responsible for checking and sealing scales and pumps, to protect the public by ensuring accuracy and fairness in trade.

Anyone acquiring a new or replacement scale or pump must have them officially checked and sealed before they can be used.  All scales and pumps must be checked and sealed annually.
