All the following items do not need to go to Landfill; we have many places in Central Massachusetts for these items. If you cannot find what you are looking for through this list, email Irene_congdon1@yahoo.com.

Household Hazardous Waste

*Note about batteries: Alkaline batteries (AAA- D) can be put in the regular trash. Non-alkaline or heavy-metal batteries such as NiCad’s, rechargeable batteries i.e.: cameras, hearing aids, cell phone, etc. are recyclable. Car batteries and non alkaline batteries may be taken to the recycling center to dispose of free of charge. You can also take rechargeables to Radio Shack and Home Depot.
