Municipal Curbside Recycling & Trash

Apple Meadow Hardware store on Railroad Street.

Town Government
The type of government under the Townsend Charter is Open Town Meeting, with
a three-member Board of Selectmen.
Town Meetings are held in May and October, usually. Watch the
Announcements for notices.
The Town Clerk's office in Memorial Hall will be glad to assist newcomers and
answer questions about the Town in general.
