Cemetery & Parks Meeting
December 10, 2018

The meeting was opened at 6:35PM
Present were, Ray Boyes, John Barrett, Roger Rapoza, Drew Funk and Pam Haman.
Minutes of the November were approved.
Bills and Deeds were approved and signed.
Discuss:
Capitol Request- A request for a new truck was submitted to Capitol Planning. Roger felt that if the department is going to continue plowing municipal building parking lots that a new vehicle is needed. The department currently purchases used vehicles to save money however these vehicles cannot handle the plowing of the numerous parking lots. Ray made a motion to approve the request for a new truck to capitol planning. All were in favor motion carried.
Job Descriptions- Roger stated that negotiations have started for the Supervisor’s Union Contract. Roger is requesting that his position be salary which is compatible to the Highway and Water Departments Supervisors. Updates were made to the Superintendent’s job descriptions. John made a motion approving the changes to the job descriptions subject to further review. All were in favor motion carried.
Agenda Items for future meetings: Common Use policies, Commissioners would like to review invasive species and digging on the common.
Have Snow removal policy and other information pertaining to the policy available for next meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 7:15PM for the department’s annual Christmas gathering.
Budget meeting is scheduled for 12/27/18 at noon. The next monthly meeting is scheduled for 1/14/19 at 7PM.
