Appointments:  Peter Buxton and Chick Mann from Veterans attended the meeting to discuss the design for landscaping the area around the veteran’s monument that was recently installed. The Veterans plan was slightly different from the one Roger presented.  Both plans would incorporate the flag pole with benches placed facing the monument.  Pavers similar to what was used in the food court area would be used.  Roger’s plan would square the area off.  The Veterans liked the plan Roger presented   John move to approve Rogers plan for the monument area.  Ray second all were in favor motion carried.  Roger and Drew will measure the area out.

Superintendents Report

The truck request will no longer be needed as a capitol expense since the department is no longer plowing for the Highway Department.  John moved to with draw the request from Capitol Planning for the new truck.  Tubby second the motion. All were in favor motion carried.

The sign has been replaced on Avenue 9 which had been vandalized earlier.

Back braces will be ordered for the crew.  Roger felt that this would be a good idea since granite markers are more often used and weigh considerable more than the brass ones.

The Department is in good shape for any Safety Inspection that may be up coming.  The Commissioners thanked Roger for his efforts in keeping the department compliant with safety standards.
