Covid 19 Treasurer/Collectors Office Update

Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic State of Emergency, to protect our staff and their families, the Town of Townsend Treasurer/Collector’s Office is currently operating under alternative work arrangements, working remotely, or with minimum capacity & staffing or staggered employee office hours, etc..  As a result, please be patient with our offices as we try to ensure all functions are still handled on a priority basis and in a reasonable time frame.  However, you may anticipate longer response times as well as payment postings, etc..  We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that any delayed responses may cause and appreciate your patience during this challenging time. 

NOTE: There is a new Payment drop-box located to the left of the glass display case outside at the Memorial Town Hall lower-level parking lot entrance.
