Gazebo Repairs:  Repairs have been on going along with painting.  Department has worked on the floor boards lattice and other general repairs.  Department will continue to do repairs as needed while maintain the integrity. Commissioners talk about using a smaller flag for the top of the gazebo.  The department will reach out to other town departments about use of equipment to get to the gazebo roof.  Accessing the roof has been a concern and problem.

Open Meeting Law:  Roger, Drew and Pam attended the training, Some useful info was learned.

Superintendents report:

There was damage to a fence post and flower barrel from the St. John’s Bazaar. Pam will reach out to St John’s to get more information so that a claim can be submitted to the responsible party.  Roger will research getting a mold made for the post and the price.  It was discussed submitting an article for special town meeting for replacement molds. Trash was also a problem from the Bazaar.  The Departments supplies 3 barrels.  The Department does not have the funds to supply addition trash barrels as well as liners for each event. It was suggested that event holders to attend a meeting prior to their events to review the rules and regulations.

There have been additional complaints about the sidewalks.  Department continues to make repairs. Still waiting to hear on grant monies.

Dogs continue to be a problem on the common.  Cemetery Crew has let people know that dogs are not allowed on common.  Most people have been pretty rude and disrespectful choosing to ignore the rule.  The Department would have to go through the Historic District Commission in order to put a sign on the common.
