Cemetery & Parks Meeting
October 7, 2019

The meeting was opened at 7:05 PM present were, Ray Boyes, Tubby Boucher, John Barrett, Drew Funk and Pam Haman
Bills and payroll were reviewed approved and signed.
Deeds approved.
Correspondence: none.

Discuss:
Highland Cemetery Expansion: Table until all members of board are present.
Signing of bills out of session. Wait till full board for further discussion.
Administrative lot transfer fee: The department has been doing a number of lot transfers and/or repurchasing. This includes both administrative task and well as additional work for the crew. A $50.00 fee would be implemented effective 11/1/9 to offset the work cost associated with the transfers. Tubby move to allow as lot transfer fee of $50.00 starting 11/1/19. Ray second all were in favor motion carried.
Rules and Maintenance for Cemetery and Parks. Drew explained how the numerous knick knacks in the cemetery can pose a problem when weed whacking and doing other maintenance. Trees/bushes planted on one lot are encroaching on another lot .Both Tubby and Ray felt that this issue should be discussed when both John and Roger are at the meeting. Tubby move to table this until both John and Roger are at the meeting. Ray second the motion carried.
Fall Clean up: Drew reported that Riverside has been started and will be in good shape for the Historic Soc. Talk on October 27. The trail entrance on Old Meeting House Hill Road has been cleared.
Superintendents Report: Drew covered the meeting in Roger’s absence he reported that the department will begin/continue cleanup of the cemeteries and parks.
