The meeting was opened at 7:03PM present were, Ray Boyes, Tubby Boucher, John Barett, Roger Rapoza, Drew Funk and Pam Haman.

 

Bills: were approved and signed.

 

Deeds: were approved and signed

 

Minutes: from October meeting approved.

 

Correspondence:  Thank you note from Lea McTighe for the assistance she received on the Riverside Presentation for the Historic Society.  She was especially please with the clean up at Riverside.

Training notification from the Inspector General on Open Meeting/Public Governing.

 

Guest:  None:

 

Discuss:

Design, Engineering Common Sidewalks.  Funds for the sidewalks are in the Department of Recreation State Budget.  Language for the specs was taken from original scope of project.  A discussion was held on the language and changes were  made.  John moved to approve the scope of project having Roger oversee the project. The Project Scope will be forward to the Board of Selectmen for their approval.  All were in favor motion carried.

Cars on Common:  There has still been no response from St John’s about the damage to the fence during the fair.  An email was sent to Mary Genova in September asking for information about the driver.

The Commissioners tabled the item until the sidewalks project gets underway.

One Commissioner Sign Bills out of Session.  John moved to allow Ray to sign bills out of regular meetings.  All were in favor motion carried.

Rules/Maintenance Cemetery & Parks.  A discussion was held on the letter to send lot owners reminding them of the cemetery rules and asking that the items, flowers and/or shrubs be removed.  Try this  and see what happens.  John moved to send the letter to lot owner with a copy of the rules.  All were in favor motion carried.  Department has receipts books which has the addresses of lot owners.

 

Superintendents Report:

The Ribbon cutting for the Veterans Marker is scheduled for 11/22/19 at 2pm.  Ceremony will be at the monument if bad weather then at Town Hall.  Press, Eagle Scout, BOS and veterans have been notified and plan on attending.  Drew will represent the department since Roger will be unable to make ceremony.  John will not be able to attend do to a conflicting appointment.

 

Next meeting is for 12/09/19 at 6:30PM.
