Cemetery & Parks Meeting
January 13,2020

The meeting was opened at 7:07PM
Present were, Ray Boyes, Tubby Boucher, John Barrett, Roger Rapoza., and Pam Haman.
Bills were reviewed and approved. There was a discussion about the increase in phone bill which came about when the town switched carriers.
December minutes were read and approved with changes made.
Deeds signed except the Congdon deed which needs to reflect the appropriate square footage.

The annual report was reviewed and will be submitted to the BOS office.
Common sidewalk designs quotes. Ross declined to quote. The department has received one quote from Goldsmith, Prest and Ringman for 24,700. Department is still waiting for one more quote. Department will give another week for the quote. John moved that if no other quote is received by January 21, 2020 then submit the quote from Goldsmith, Prest and Ringman to the Board of Selectmen. All were in favor motion carried.
Budget for FY 2021. There will be a 2% salary increase. The Department is requesting an increase to the communication line in the budget due to the increase in phone charges. The budget was approved and will be forward to the BOS office.
Superintendents report. Roger would like to start the process of getting a columbarium for Hillside Cemetery. The funds would come from the Sale of Lots account. Commissioners approved the articled. It will be sent to BOS office for the town meetingwarrant.
Next meeting scheduled for February 20, 2020 at 7pm.
