Appointments: Members of the Shared Street Committee, attended the meeting via Zoom to request signage in Gilson Park.  The sign would be a brown/white trail marking directional sign indicating trails to Howard Park, Meeting House Hill Road and other points of interest. The goal is to have a historical looking sign in keeping with the aesthetics of the area.  Sign would be approx. 14ft high with 12ft being above ground.  Sign would be aluminum with a protective coating.

Tubby and Ray felt that important was important for all board members and wanted to wait till the full board could discuss the issue.  Veronica, a committee member understood and said that the committee would need to know as soon as possible because the RFB needs to be advertised in the central registry with a schedule bid opening 6/11/21.

Common Update:  The updated Rules and Regulations for the common as well as a letter to event holders was reviewed and signed.

Adams Dam: Project is moving along $3850 was awarded for the project. 6x6 timbers by the river with a gate to deter cars.  Roger and Drew will be helping provide labor.

Columbarium:  Roger is starting to work on the project since Town Meeting approved the use of cemetery funds.

John joined the meeting along with the Shared Streets Committee with further discussion regarding the signs at Gilson Park.  Veronica Kell, Committee Member updated John about the sign.  Sign would be in keeping with historic nature of area, with arrows pointing towards various parks/trails.  The Committee had original wanted one closer to the common however that area is under the jurisdiction of the Historic District Commission and they denied the request.  Gilson Park is a memorial to the veterans of WWI and the Commissioners do not want to project to detract from that.  Committee understood this and sign will complement ascetics of area.  It will be Mass DOT approved.  Commissioners thought the prosed project looked.  John move to approve the sign proposal all were in favor motion carried.
