The meeting was opened at 5PM present were, Ray Boyes, Tubby Boucher, John Barett, Roger Rapoza and Pam Haman.
Bills approved and signed
Appointments: Three candidates for intermittent seasonal labor. David Baldwin, Christopher Jones (CJ) and Jarimiah Ford.
The Commissioners reviewed the applications and gave a general over view of the job. The Commissioners reviewed on call responsibilities, working in bad weather and that crews do have some interfacing with the public. Each candidate was interviewed separately.
David Baldwin: In school at NVTHS majoring in auto mechanic. Has valid driver’s license. Can work days during the summer and vacations available after school and weekends in fall.
Christopher Jones (CJ): Has worked for Quality Vault in the past so has an understanding of the departments needs for funerals. Willing to get hydraulics and pesticide license.
Jarimiah Ford: has known Drew for many years, currently does have a full-time job but his schedule is flexible. He understands job is on call and can make arrangements to be available. Does have landscaping experience.
Commissioners felt that all three are good candidates.
John moved to approve forwarding the names and applications to the BOS for hiring.
Meeting adjoined 6:10PM.
