The meeting was opened at 12 PM present were Tubby Boucher, John Barrett, Roger Rapoza and Pam Haman.  And members of the FOB.

 

Correspondence: none.

Bills and deeds were reviewed, approved and signed.

 

Appointment/Interview:

Thomas Eyles was interviewed as a potential candidate for intermittent labor.  The job was explained to him and he is interested in the position.  Tubby made a motion to offer the position to Thomas Eyles and pass his resume/application on to the BOS for appointment.  All were in favor motion carried.

Discuss:

FOB presented their proposal for the Bandstand.  The Commissioners and FOB reviewed the repairs/restoration ideas.  The two groups agreed in most of ideas.  The groups realize that any restoration/repair will need to ADA compliant.  There was also discussion on the back addition/porch, does this ruin the bandstand?  Height of railings another item that needs to be considered.

 

John is meeting an architectural engineer at the bandstand to review options this afternoon.

A local architect engineer Robert Therrien will also look at the bandstand and offer ideas as well.

 

The 6/21/22 joint Proposed Bandstand Repairs Report will be forwarded to the BOS.

 

Mowing New Grounds:  Mowing the additional grounds is going well.  No concerns as of yet.

Roger stated that a grant had been received for consulting for the riverbank areas of Adams Dam. John move to approve of the Squanacock River Trail Assessment bill from John Kowaleski- Trail Tech.  all in favor motion carried.

 

Next meeting is scheduled for 7/6/22 for end of FY 22 bills.
