Woven St. Bridget's Cross Class

Join us for our first of many artisan classes taught by local talent Tamara Leclerc!

Make a woven St. Bridget's Cross out of rushes from Co. Sligo, Ireland. 
These crosses were thought to keep evil, fire, harm, and hunger from the homes in which it is displayed. The cross itself is made with soft, pliable rushes and dries stiff lasting for years. The class will take place February 18th at 1pm at The Great Hall of the Townsend Town Hall. Please email ehtownrec@yahoo.com to reserve your space. Cost is $20
